Celebrate Walpurgis Eve in Uppsala On the last day of April, thousands of people gather in Uppsala to celebrate Walpurgis Eve. Student rafts on the river and choir-singing are just a few of the things going on that day. In the evening, you can listen to songs of spring near the Gunilla Bell or warm yourself by the crackling bonfire in Old Uppsala. Read more and see the film from the celebration in 2008.
